How deportalia.es works

deportalia.es answers one question: which sport can my child or I do near home, from what age, and what does it cost per month and per year.

What you will find

• 19,318 organisations in 852 Catalan towns: clubs, gyms, martial arts schools, municipal sports centres, swimming pools and tennis & padel clubs.
• For each one: the sports offered, location, phone and website. When the club publishes prices we add its sections with ages, times, monthly fee, membership fee, registration fee and first-year cost (currently 533 organisations).
• If a club does not publish prices we do not hide it: it shows “Price on request” and a link to its website.

What we don't do

• No sign-ups, bookings or payments.
• No user accounts or reviews.
• No personal data of coaches, athletes or children. If a club's registered office is a private home we do not show the address and the map point is approximate.
• No summer camps and no after-school activities inside schools: regular sport only.

Where the data comes from

The Generalitat's Sports Entities Register and facilities census, OpenStreetMap and the clubs' own websites. See Data sources.

First-year cost

Registration + membership fee + federation licence (if required) + monthly fee × season months (10 months, September to June; 12 for gyms). It is an estimate for comparison: the current price is the one on the club's website.
